Dogman’s Hut is a rustic bush hut located deep in the Victorian High Country, near the Tom Groggin Station area along the Murray River, close to the NSW/VIC border. It sits in remote state forest, not far from 4WD routes like Davies Plain Track and Dogman’s Track, and is surrounded by tall alpine gums and rugged ridgelines.
It is a survival- and fire-shelter-style hut, not intended as a formal overnight facility.

Dogman’s Hut is believed to have been used by fencers, stockmen, or dog trappers (hence “dogman”) in the high country during the 20th century.
