🌊 Located on the eastern side of Lake Tinaroo within Danbulla National Park and State Forest, Curri Curri Bush Camp Site 2 is a boat-in only site offering intimate, remote lakeside camping. Site 2 is positioned approximately 2 km east of the Church Street boat ramp at Tinaroo Township, accessed via private boats, canoe or kayak.
🪶 History
📜 The area sits on the traditional lands of the Yidinji and Ngadjon-Jii peoples, custodians of the Atherton Tablelands. Curri Curri has long been part of cultural connections to Lake Tinaroo and its ecosystems. Since damming in the late 1950s, the site has been incorporated into Danbulla’s national/state forest system, preserving access to the lake shoreline.
