Old Geehi Campground is a remote riverside camping area nestled along the Swampy Plain River, south of Khancoban, just off the scenic Alpine Way. It's a peaceful spot, offering spectacular views back toward the snow-capped Main Range, and it's one of the quietest corners in the Geehi Flats region.

The campground sits near the Old Geehi Hut, a restored dry-stone shepherd's hut, one of many in the region built in the 1940s and earlier. This area is part of Ngarigo Country, and carries a strong legacy of both Indigenous seasonal use and grazing heritage.
