Tom Groggin Horse Camp is a dedicated equestrian campground situated near the Murray River, in the southern end of Kosciuszko National Park, close to the NSW/VIC border. It’s slightly upstream from the more widely known Tom Groggin Campground and offers a peaceful, flat site ideal for horse trekking groups exploring alpine river valleys and historic trails.

This region lies within Ngarigo Country and was a known corridor for seasonal movement and high-country gatherings. In settler times, the Tom Groggin area was made famous by cattlemen and bush poets—it's believed that Banjo Paterson based The Man from Snowy River on stories from this very region.

The horse camp supports long-distance riding trails, often connecting to Geehi, Major Clews Hut, and beyond.
